So far the weather outlook is pretty good. There’s an average high of 60 and a low of 40. The lodge is climate controlled. For the deck, we have a tent with optional sides, as well as heaters and blankets. The Lake Michigan temperature is going to be CHILLY!

Shuttle bus

There will be transportation to and from the Camp Blodgett on the day of the wedding by bus. It will depart from and return to the Holiday Inn Express Holland (next door to the Hampton Inn).

Return: 9:30pm and 11:00pm

The Amtrak Pere Marquette line which connects Chicago to Grand Rapids stops in Holland, MI.


2.75 hours from Chicago and 2.5 hours from Ann Arbor. Google maps exist, and apparently so does mapquest. There are more detailed camp maps on the venue page


The Lake Ferry runs from Milwaukee, WI to Muskegon, MI.


Indian Trails Bus Company runs a route from Chicago to Holland, Michigan. 


The nearest airport is Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) in Grand Rapids, a 40 minute drive from the Holiday Inn Express Holland and 51 minutes away from Camp Blodgett.
